Tim Burton and Johnny Depp's eighth collaboration, Dark Shadows, will be released on May 11, 2012. It seems an ideal project for one of cinema's most idiosyncratic partnerships. Depp will play another pallid protagonist in the form of Barnabas Collins, a vampire, opposite other Burton regular Helena Bonham Carter, as well as Chloe Moretz, Jackie Earle Haley, Eva Green and Michelle Pfeiffer, while Danny Elfman will return for scoring duties.
